How Do I blast off..... ?
Lets GO!

Why Do I Keep Putting Off What I Know I Need to Do?
You know what you need to do.
You've thought about it. You've probably made a plan. Maybe you've even started.
And then… nothing.
You put it off.
Or you wait until the last possible moment and suddenly become incredibly productive under pressure.
Or you start with great enthusiasm, stop somewhere in the middle, and promise yourself you'll get back to it tomorrow.
I understand that one. I've done it too.
So what is really going on?
Sometimes Your "Why" Isn't Enough
We hear a lot about finding your why. And yes, having a compelling reason to act matters.
But sometimes you have a very big WHY and still don't move.
Years ago, I had a friend who was about to have her car repossessed. I had access to someone who could help her get a job and start earning money quickly.
All she had to do was make a phone call.
She never called.
Eventually, they repossessed the car.
How could losing your car not be enough motivation to make one phone call?
Because something else was stronger.
Shame.
She carried a collection of "shoulds" about her life.
I should be further along.
I shouldn't be in this situation.
I should have handled this already.
The worse things became, the more ashamed she felt. And the more ashamed she felt, the harder it became to act.
Her problem wasn't a lack of reasons. She had plenty of reasons.
She was caught in an emotional loop.
Shame Can Become an Identity
There is a difference between:
"I made a mistake."
and
"There is something wrong with me."
The first can lead to correction.
The second can lead to paralysis.
When shame becomes part of your identity, opportunity itself can feel threatening.
I've watched talented people accept work far beneath their abilities.
I've watched people say they desperately wanted change, then shut down the moment an opportunity appeared.
Why?
Because moving forward challenges the story they've been telling themselves about who they are.
And old stories can be surprisingly stubborn.
The First Step Is Usually the Hardest
I remember my first firewalk.
Standing there looking at those glowing coals, the hardest part wasn't walking across them.
It was taking the first step.
Once I started moving, I kept moving.
Life is often like that. We stand at the edge thinking. Analyzing. Waiting for confidence. Waiting to feel ready.
Sometimes you have to move before you feel ready.
So what do you do?
1. Stop Trying to Fix Everything
Pick one thing.
Not twenty.
One.
Make the phone call. Send the email. Open the document. Walk for ten minutes.
Success breeds success. Action begins changing the emotional state that kept you stuck.
2. When You Don't Take Action… Take Action
Yes, I know that sounds ridiculously simple.
It is.
You said you were going to do something and didn't do it?
Fine.
Don't spend three days analyzing why. Don't beat yourself up first. You don't need a motivational seminar or a color-coded spreadsheet explaining your procrastination.
Take the next action.
3. If You Stop, Start Again
This is where people get themselves into trouble.
They miss once and decide they've failed.
No.
You stopped.
Start again.
Fall down seven times? Get up eight.
Start. Continue. Finish.
And when you stop? Start again.
There is enormous power in becoming someone who simply keeps restarting until the job is done.
Action Changes Things
Thinking about changing doesn't change much.
Planning to change doesn't change much.
Wanting to change doesn't change much.
Action changes things.
You don't have to solve your entire life today. You do need to take the next step.
So let me leave you with one question:
When would NOW be a great time to start?
Pick one thing.
When would NOW be a great time to start?
Pick one thing.
And move. Do not Pass Go. Do Not collect 200 dollars and simply Go. It actually can become contagious.
